Rather than addressing virginity as a biological reality, the piece examines it as a cultural narrative: a collection of meanings, projections, and values that societies have historically placed upon women's bodies.

LIKE A VIRGIN also invites a compassionate reflection on the stories many of us carry from our earliest experiences of desire, intimacy, and self-discovery. It honors the vulnerability of becoming, the uncertainty of youth, and the process of learning to inhabit one's own body on one's own terms.

Soft tones and delicate lines create an atmosphere that is both playful and contemplative. A pearl detail appears as a symbolic element throughout the design, representing the notions of innocence, value, and preciousness that are often projected onto women. Here, the pearl becomes a reminder that worth does not come from an external ideal, but already exists within.

As with several pieces in the WOMB Collection, a visible red cotton gusset celebrates what is often hidden: the menstrual cycle, vitality, lived experience, and the reality of the female body. It offers a counterpoint to idealized narratives, grounding the piece in something authentic, human, and alive.

Please allow up to 10 business days for production before shipping.

Each SACRED GEOMETRY piece is handmade to order and individually made in our atelier.

Due to the intimate nature of the product and its made-to-order production, returns, refunds, and cancellations are not accepted.

Customers are responsible for carefully reviewing sizing information before placing an order. If you have any doubts regarding sizing, please contact us prior to purchase and we will be happy to advise.

Every piece undergoes a thorough quality inspection before shipment. If you encounter an issue upon receiving your order, please contact us by email within 72 hours of delivery and include photographs of the concern.

Where appropriate, we will work with you to identify a suitable solution. In many cases, local alterations or repairs may be the most practical option. Any alteration or repair costs must be approved in advance by By JBDJ before reimbursement can be considered.

Shipping costs, customs duties, taxes, and expenses related to alterations or repairs remain the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed in writing.
